With the upcoming release of the new Muppets movie, Disney decided to update some classic Muppets songs for the older generation.  The Green Album includes classic Muppet songs recorded by awesome bands such as The Fray, My Morning Jacket, and Ok Go.  It's gotten great reviews and I personally can't wait to get it!

Kiss The Groom

I just wandered across the site Kiss The Groom and I want to stare at it all day.  Photographer Elizabeth Messina started this site filled with wedding, family, and pregnancy pics and it's absolutely gorgeous.  The photos on the site are the most beautiful, sexy, original, lovely pictures I've ever seen.  I'm particularly in love with her photos that are beautiful in their simplicity but manage to have overwhelming sexiness...I'd post some examples but the site is right-click disabled (smart lady) so go browse!

This is also a real book...like FO REAL...Someone either has NO sense of humor and thought this was the most appropriate image for the cover or someone seriously thought the content of this book was bunk...In general, it's about whether or not zoos are ethical, animal testing, etc...Personally, I think the cover monkey is totally enjoying this moment of glory!  Plus I'm pretty sure she's singing "Do you really want to huuuuurrrrtt mmmmeee? Do you really want to mmmaaakkkeee mmmmeeeee crrrrryyyyy"

Clearly I'm Hungry

I want this sandwich RIGHT NOW.  And I also want to go home and concoct some sort of awesome something with the Mike's Hot Honey I have.  It's got a serious kick to it and so far I've only tried it on biscuits. 

But now I want to try to make something along these lines:

Is It Time For Vacation Yet?

Beyond the fact that I asked my boss "What it's about?" when asking about the book she's reading..I know I'm ready for vacation when the following exchange makes me want to slap myself:

Patron: Do you have anything by Sade (pronounced Say-dee)? S-A-D-E
Me: Do you mean Sade (pronounced Shar-day)
Patron: Oooooh! Maybe that's it?
Me: Sure, we definitely have some of her cds
Patron: Great! Is she in rap?
Me: Um, no. She's definitely not a rapper.

It took a decent amount of restraint not to look at him and say "If you're expecting Sade to be rap music, you are going to be HUGELY disappointed". 

That and the phone call from the woman who thinks she lost her silver dollar coin (of great sentimental value given to her by her mother years and years and years ago) by computer #12:
Me: I'm sorry ma'am, I just looked around all the computers and checked with lost and found to see if it was there and it's not here.
Woman: Is there someone sitting at that computer now?
Me: Yes.  But I made sure to look very closely.
Woman: Is the person young or old?
Me: I don't think that's relevant and I can't tell you that.

Which made me wonder to myself if she would have accused a young person of stealing the coin if they had found it? Oh, and by the way lady, I keep my valuables at home.  Not in a random bag that I drag all over creation.
